My name is Ainsley McPherson, I teach folk & decorative art, all styles from traditional to modern, I specialise in painting animals with simple techniques that I have developed by trial & error, making it possible for most people to achieve, without years of painting experience.

I have been teaching Folk & Decorative art for approx 6 years and have painted with Acrylic Gauche and their mediums for about 11 years, prior to that I have learnt ceramics, oils & watercolours, which has enabled me to be flexible with acrylic gauche in its uses.

I have won numerous prizes from first to fourth at shows in Victoria from the Melbourne Royal Show, Emerald, Lilydale & Dandenong Agricultural show. I have also painted a commission for The Yarra Valley Conference centre being their emblem "A Wedge-tail Eagle" on a large craftwood cutout for their dining room.

My Home studio runs four classes a week, day & evening. I am available to teach at other studios or paint commissions. Pattern Packs are available for all my animals after I have taught them a couple of times the cost is each $11.00 AUD including postage in Australia.
